What is Empty Hands Martial Arts

Empty Hands Martial Arts (EHMA), is an organization formed to promote the awareness and growth of Ed. Parkers American Kenpo (EPAK) within South Australia. Established in 2008, the EHMA aims to offer it’s members access to the highest quality training by some of the foremost modern day Kenpo authorities from around the world.
EHMA is the official South Australian regional representative of Personal Self Defence (PSD), and Sensei Tim Barnes is the Head Instructor for PSD in South Australia. All Our instructors are internationally ranked and qualified, 1st Aid Qualified and Police checked. Training is conducted in an environment that fosters humility, ethical behaviour, friendship and fun. Everyone is made to feel welcome, valued and respected. We recognize that each person’s journey is different and that one person is no less valuable than another’s. Empty Hands Martial Arts aims to nurture a practitioner to not only be an effective practitioner, but also to be a true martial artist in all facets of their lives.
